Dr. Bazak Sharon
Expert Consultant and Medical Director
Dr. Sharon has dedicated much of his career to working in an outpatient Infectious Disease/Immunology clinic, where he developed an interest and expertise in post-infection immune-mediated syndromes. His clinic grew to become a referral center for complex conditions such as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, and Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS). Over the years, Dr. Sharon has diagnosed and treated hundreds of patients with these challenging conditions—many of whom had been previously dismissed by other providers.

In April 2020, Dr. Sharon launched the Pediatric COVID Clinic, initially focusing on treating children with COVID-19. As the pandemic evolved, the clinic shifted its focus to managing the long-term effects of SARS-CoV-2, now recognized as Long COVID. Over the next three years, Dr. Sharon became a leading expert in this field, developing effective treatment protocols and establishing multidisciplinary collaborations across the state. Notably, Dr. Sharon has been a pioneer in using intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG) to treat complex illnesses, especially PANS, where this intervention is becoming the standard of care.
